Resumo

Este artigo apresenta uma análise detalhada da evolução e das perspectivas futuras no campo da segurança pública, empregando métodos bibliométricos e prospectivos. A análise bibliométrica examina o desenvolvimento histórico da pesquisa até 2023, identificando padrões, principais áreas de estudo e autores influentes. Esse entendimento profundo do passado estabelece a base para a análise prospectiva, que utiliza métodos de previsão para antecipar cenários possíveis e tendências emergentes em segurança pública. Ao combinar essas abordagens, o estudo oferece uma visão abrangente das dinâmicas passadas e futuras do campo. Os resultados da análise bibliométrica fornecem um entendimento sólido das fundações sobre as quais pesquisas futuras podem ser construídas. Por meio da análise prospectiva, o artigo explora direções futuras potenciais, desafios críticos e oportunidades no âmbito da segurança pública.
