Resumo

Este estudo explora o impacto profundo das tecnologias digitais nos processos econômicos, especialmente no âmbito dos investimentos. Organizações financeiras estão aproveitando plataformas digitais e inteligência artificial algorítmica (IA) para oferecer serviços aprimorados aos consumidores. Algoritmos alimentados por IA superam os seres humanos no processamento de grandes quantidades de informações, levando a uma melhor descoberta de preços e redução dos custos de transação. Robôs consultores, potencializados pela IA, tornaram-se atores fundamentais nos mercados financeiros, oferecendo portfólios de investimento personalizados com base em perfis de risco e objetivos. Embora as tecnologias de IA algorítmica eliminem erros humanos e otimizem a tomada de decisões, também introduzem novos riscos. Defeitos na construção do algoritmo, erros intencionais, vulnerabilidades de cibersegurança e os desafios regulatórios da supervisão de algoritmos de autoaprendizado são preocupações. Além disso, o surgimento de plataformas blockchain transformou criptomoedas e tokens digitais em novos ativos negociáveis com seus próprios desafios de proteção. Pesquisadores enfatizam que a abundância de dados e correlações facilitadas pela IA pode ter consequências não intencionais, e o desenvolvimento de mecanismos adequados de supervisão e controle é essencial. Conforme o cenário financeiro continua a evoluir, torna-se crucial que investidores e reguladores naveguem pelas complexidades das tecnologias digitais e abordem o emergente Risco Global de Tecnologia (GTR).
