We are pleased to share an important milestone with our academic community.
Although the Qualis journal classification system was officially discontinued by CAPES as of 2025, the results of the most recent journal assessment were released yesterday, covering the last quadrennium (2021–2024). In this evaluation, the Brazilian Journal of Law, Technology and Innovation (BJLTI)—launched in 2023—was awarded the classification Qualis B1 in its very first assessment.
This is an outstanding achievement for such a young journal and a source of genuine pride for our editorial team. The result is particularly significant because the evaluation considered only publications from 2023 and 2024, meaning that BJLTI reached this level of recognition based solely on its earliest volumes—something that is uncommon for newly established journals.
This recognition reinforces the strength and quality of our editorial project and confirms BJLTI’s commitment to publishing rigorous, innovative, and impactful research at the intersection of Law, Technology, and Innovation.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all authors and contributors who trusted BJLTI with their work and helped build its academic reputation from the very beginning. We also thank our reviewers, editors, editorial board members, and the entire community supporting the journal. This achievement reflects the excellence of the scholarship submitted and the quality of the work developed throughout our editorial process.
We invite readers to explore our publications, share our content, and continue strengthening the scientific community around BJLTI.
